In this oeuvre Kumar’s research deals mostly with issues like loneliness, isolation and the earch of an inalienable inner peace. The artist is usually really curious with people's inner lives these are the main subject of her work.
My method is dialog, implementation, revalidation, destruction and development. My favorite medium is acrylic paint. This dries easily, suiting my personality and technique very well. Among applying paint layers to my job, I don’t want to wait too long. In this phase I aims to achieve harmony – on the edge of consciousness and the subconscious, where without too much thought, I responds and paint alternating with reflecting and manipulating decisions using several layers of paint, adding and removing components and working directly on to the canvas is her mantra. Painting bits, making mistakes and getting lost are a very important part of Kumar’s process the use of harsh brushstrokes in this work is her way of portraying how to implicated the inner thoughts on the canvas in that very moment, so the final work is not a planned picture but a spiritual process for her.
