"Oc-Cult Leader"

Inspired by the evolving openness to feelings and intuition, "Oc-Cult Leader" reflects the societal shift from logic to embracing emotions. Over the past decade, this transformation, witnessed globally, has influenced my personal journey toward self-discovery and spirituality—a change catalyzed by attending a meditation workshop at MOMA in New York.

Historically, the deer symbolizes a spiritual guide across cultures. Through dynamic red and blue gestural action painting, the artwork captures the ongoing battle between logic and emotions. The deer serves as a unifier, representing the synthesis of these contrasts. In spirituality, it mirrors my journey of self-discovery, beautifully balancing logic and emotions like a symphony.

This piece also sheds light on the phenomenon of modern-day spirituality practices gaining immense traction, almost akin to a cult. The deer, as the "occult leader," symbolizes harmony while grounded in true selves, evident in its prominent 3D sculptural outline within the piece.
