Now I see

Within this piece is contained the self portrait of me the artist. But this piece is about me finally realizing what I could not see in the midst of the chaos that I was going through at a very bad moment in my life. This is why many areas within this painting are very abstract, but repetitive and violent looking. The black represents the Times of vaoid and the unknown, the gold represents the nuggets of truth and learning that I took from the experiences. The circles represent the repetitive nature of the cycles of trouble. While the circle with the gold Iris is symbolic of me finally seeing what the heck was going on in my life and why I was doing what I was doing!
