Through contemplating the Islamic ritual of pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj) and its symbolic heavenly calls, the images that point to the spiritual language between the universe and its creator and all those expressions of the connection between the soul and God, I was inspired by this journey to find an image of beauty and faith that expresses this language and puts it into a contemporary piece of art.
