I've been always attracted by portraits, imagining all the stories and scenarios hiding behind the eyes I am looking at. As an icon painter, on the other hand, my job is to capture the infinite, the absolute. As such, I found myself being eager to catch person's most intimate moment- when they are outside of reality, lost in dreams or thoughts, when there's no much left to hide- that's exactly when we say the most.
Shown works are a part of the series in which I research the corelation between some time and cultural dimensions that are not so contradictory. Through the analysis of the indentity and the collective of which I am not the part, I am trying to sense the way they function within the framework of their own legalities.
