Sometimes patience runs low and frustration builds, it may even blow your head to smoke. I wanted this surreal piece to really capture an essence of drama whilst remaining still. The highlights and shadows on the jacket giving a contrast of light versus dark with this piece bringing out both emotions within myself. This portrait was created with oil paints on plywood, as wood can be more resilient than canvas when getting into the grit of painting.
