"Nimbostratus IV" was made by improvisation. While I was painting it I had no clue of the outcome. The rule I strongly believe in the process is to "listen to the needs of the painting" - which of course are my needs projected on the canva. This way in "Nimbostratus IV" I have created an abstract afterimage of a still-life. Still-lifes for me are the principles of painting. During my childhood, I have made hundreds of them and that's why I feel nostalgic for still-life.
