A painting from the Erice series, showing a fragment of the nature around Trapaniin Sicily. This fragment presents the flora in its raw form, burnt by the sun. I allowed myself to introduce some elements of fresh greenery. This is intended to revive the canvas and represent new life. As a means of expression, green painted string was used; this technique adds texture and makes the painting more three dimensional.
