“Nepal” is a painting realized after a trek/trip to the Himalayan mountain Annapurna, placed in center of Nepal. I chose to honor with an artwork the energy and the spirituality that I discovered in such beautiful places. Attracted by the Tibetan Buddhism, I reproduced the compassion mandala; monks draw the mandala with colored sands, and then destroy them, to represent the impermanence of material world. The circle canvas is itself a symbol of a deep and ancient philosophy, of a time and a space having no beginning nor end.
