“My Soul” is the title of the work that represents the immaterial principle of life, as opposed to the body. The soul, which is traditionally considered immortal, but also a manifestation of the divine and the centre of thought, feeling and will, is depicted by cement. The cement is spread randomly on the painting thus creating contrasts of light and shadow on the surface. Randomness thus generates unique works that are always different. The cement occupies the entire composition, deliberately including the canvas, synonymous with intimacy and closure towards an external interlocutor.
