Mute depicts a story based around perspective and decision-making. The group does not share nor do they respect the individual's vantage point, thus they ignore his warning. This negligence makes the individual feel powerless, and frustration begins to manifest around him. Which forces the individual to make a decision: on whether he will oppose his better judgement and follow the group, or abandon the group and face his obstacles alone.
