The memories series explores the visual representation of the fading of memories. Through time our memories fade and become less and less obvious or explicit. Just like when we tell about them, the memory is at first abstract to the audience and becomes more concrete the more we talk about it (the longer you look at the works, the more details you will distinguish) - yet they will never be complete. In this particular work, the mermory is a picture taken at a studio visit of befriended artists.
The artist always starts from an image (picture) where he removes bits and pieces which reflect the fading of the memory. He first preps a blank canvas with paint and spraypaint and subsequently uses the screenrpinting technique to place the image.
