There's an ancient Chinese saying: the tree wishes to remain still, but the wind does not stop. When we try to think independently, we find ourselves no longer in control. Cameras replace human observation, computers take over human thought, making our world increasingly unreal. As depicted in the painting, people seem to have become puppets of the information age, holding up their phones as if they were new objects of worship. In the distance, the "Tree of Faith" gradually transforms into a blazing flame after an explosion, symbolizing the collapsing and changing of people's beliefs. Terrifying wars become casual dinner conversation, yet no one is willing to turn around and pay attention to their dying loved ones. Some individuals do not want the collective to awaken, and some collectives do not wish to wake up. Perhaps this is what we call "Mass Disorientation" or "Collective Disorientation".
