All throughout the past days, especially these days of revolt, women (be they mothers, sisters, wives, widows, teachers, students, workers, activists ) have proven that they are those any society need to rely on. Leading revolts into a lively world, more of " la vie en rose " .
Compassionate, caring, peaceful, firm, wild, powerful, tender, just, magical ... ; those iconic women simply stood defensive of their beloved in front lines, taking bullets, giving love - much much love - . Gentle fists weaving warmth in dark and dull times; turning barbed wires into fine, smooth threads ! They showed us how straight and sharp lines (standard taboos) could gently be bent into marvellous curves; hair, eyelashes, branches, body silhouettes, flowers, butterflies, sky horizon, shades of dusk and dawn, flag flutter, land terrains, anthem rhyme... all examples combined to revive our bruised beloved country; " Manbiton lil rijal wal nisaa " (a phrase in the Lebanese national anthem, indicating that Lebanon is the land of Men, to which the revolts added the word "nisaa" meaning Women) !
