this painting I was inspired by Shakespeare's "Macbeth" tragedy to
paint one of the most striking scenes in my mind: the meeting of Macbeth and
Banquo with the three witches.
The
two knights are amazed, it is a supernatural vision but that will have
consequences in the reality of the two characters, who seem ready to react too.
the three witches list the future titles of macbeth that remains fascinated and
eager to make this prophecy come true. while Banquo is wary with the sword to
react.
