The skies and their unique and ever changing design have always inspired me and are the basis of my artistic work.
This painting is inspired by the magical atmosphere, the light, the sky, the colours, the nature and the people of Lapland. It is an expression of my admiration and fascination for the Northern skies, with the moon hiding behind the clouds, the surrounding serenity and freedom and the silence of the nights in Laponia.
