Description: "Little Piece of Heaven at the Bottom of a Jar is a vibrant and lifelike representation of floral beauty, capturing the intricate details and vibrant colors of the flowers. Created through my unique artistic process, I used a copyright-free image from Pexels as a starting point, printed the reference using a laser printer, and transformed it with oil pastels without any preliminary sketching. The use of a laser printer ensures that the toner will not degrade the painting over time or interfere with the oil pastels. This intuitive approach allowed me to mold the piece directly on paper, infusing it with my personal vision and style. This is one highly detailed piece where I aimed to depict the bouquet of flowers and the natural elements surrounding it as vividly as possible. I started with the wall, adding some pearl white to give it a sheen and mimicking a stucco texture with pastels, which gave the artwork an amazing feel. I used a scalpel to create sharp edges on the pens, allowing me to capture each flower, stem, and leaf in their own unique world. It was like painting many images in one, and I am pleased with the result—it looks alive, which was my goal for this piece. The jar presented an exciting challenge, particularly in making the leaves look submerged in water and capturing the light on the stems. The little speck of blue reminds me of the light at the end of the tunnel, giving a feeling of freedom and space amidst the chaos of life. The result is a spontaneous and original artwork that blends modern technology with traditional hand-crafted techniques, highlighting the delicate textures and vivid hues of the bouquet."
