Free pen drawing. Most of my pen drawings I start without any concept or idea. At one point the subject announces itself, in this case while drawing the faces they ended up in a basket. By adding the blood and the title the meaning became apparent. So, it is about the French Revolution and the freedom, equality and fraternity expressed in het basket beneath the guillotine.
