They came to register, to interrogate, to frighten. Too many for us to count. All armed with rifles and grenades. I felt very old, I still remembered those times when soldiers were warriors, when mothers, no matter how worried they were, felt proud of their soldier sons.
Everybody there! Move you filthy pigs! Faster! What are you waiting for?
Obeying orders, observing, I felt very close to you. They divided us into groups of men and women, old (less dangerous) and dangerous. I was still among the dangerous ones, I am pleased to tell you.
