Isle of Sirens

This artwork was inspired from the painting of Francois Alfred Delobbe "Two daughters of the Ocean" because I have a strong relation to that painting in my past. My grandfather as a painter create a copy of this painting which hang in his living room. That was the place where I have begin to draw and paint as a little boy. After grandfathers dead his oilpainting is every day with me in my atelier. Although I have looked that painting a thousands times there is still this enigmatic look in the eyes of the two woman which is the theme of my new interpretation.
