Intruder #10 - 2016 - is part of Intruders collection 2014-2017
The Intruders research evolved into a serial tergeted practice exploration of the urban context. A continuous strategic study of the territory, non metropolitan cities, catalouing and research object.
The "INTRUDERS" are precicly the predatotors frozen in an istant immediatly happening befor the action.
It's the evolution of a contemporary research which goes beyond the urban space of the metropoly non places, that fully embraces street art and graffiti world in subtle parallelism a predator subject and pray to its habitat.
The artist outline a free, indipendent, watchful, solitary, but above all, night-watcher, who moved silently fast to reach and conquer his prey. The feline movement are careful, weighted, immediate probably overlapping, with those of the writer. A constant mimic between lights and shadows, between legality and provocation, leaving that silent impression which can scream in the chaos of the city.
If such a strickly thematic selection is to be, at the same time, an investigation into the portrayal and deepening of one of the trajectories. Although detalied, the detail is not entrusted to the fingers or the hand but to the wide movements of the arm. it is then the latter having the task of transferringthe graphic intention.
In
intruder #10 the question of time, or rather, of the fragmentation experience in urban contemporaneity, introduces on last interesting notation: the reflection that the highlighted components have on the pictorial language and hence the linguistic evolution of the same subjects in the years from 2015-2017.In intruder #10 the details were given by the gesture given to the use of the spatula and brushes. The dexterity that shapes thoughts and materializes the figure. The figure appears broken and fragmented. Reduced and expressed through the two essential colors the black and the white in a technique that is always customary by the manual and by the gestures .
The cat is a predator, instinctive, surgical, rapid, territotrial, is therefore the metaphor of the writer, whose felinity, as said, is indispensable, and explains Indruders' subject and many of the previously mentioned titles.
