I used raw painting canvas to create the “dress” by cutting, tearing and stapling it into the form of the Dior dress that inspired it. I then added gesso and oil painted it and added glitter. The mannequin bodice is painted in oils and then the background collage is made of my grandmothers vintage sewing patterns. The work is on wood and framed with a vintage frame on three sides only as to let the dress spill out the bottom.
