Artwork from the "Infinity" series.
Calypso.
According to the epic of Homer, the nymph Calypso held Odysseus on her island for 7 years. Her name is translated from Greek as "the one that hides." Hidden content is always present in the nature of any thing and can be discovered if you make an inner effort, which Odysseus made to escape from Calypso island, yearning for his wife Penelope. This abstract painting is created in a spontaneous artistic technique. And only later, in contemplation, it reveals hidden forms. For example, a female silhouette in a light veil. But you are able to discover your own nymph.
The artwork has painted in a spontaneous author's technique. A fleeting impression in the flow of life or subject of concern for many years can become the impulse to create. The creation process is preceded by a long concentration and removal of content from the personal mind. Each painting of this series is an observation of how a figure is born from the background in spontaneous intuitive movement. The image, through the artist, receives an impulse to live and begins to interact with the viewer after the picture had finished. As an artist, I had the intention of manifesting something that wished to be manifested. Something has its own existence and can show someone else unmanifested things in his internal.
