Concept
Mnemonic
flashes are one of the amazing phenomena of memory. It's like a jump in time,
where a person suddenly sees an emotionally important event that could have
happened many years ago.
At
some point, closing your eyes, you see yourself as a child who looks at the
amazingly big sky. It can be cloudless blue or lead-heavy, ready to rain down,
or pale pink, like at sunset. In the beginning, you only see this sky. It's
yours. You are alone with it.
You
can look at every detail of this fragment, of which there are countless
numbers. To the sky, you are also one of countless numbers. While you are
looking at how the sky lives, there is a life inside you that is known only to
the sky. Or maybe you.
You see your face. What is it like?
Surprised, confused, delighted, or something that you have never seen or even
expected to see?
Under this sky, you are too small. At the
same time you are nobody and you are everything. There is only sky and you.
There is only sky. There is only you. Flash…
And you look at yourself - that little
one at the moment of meeting the sky, at the moment of meeting in yourself a
grain of sand and the universe. You are watching at the one who is watching.
When you have seen the sky for the last time what it was like? And yourself?
