In a 100 x 100 cm canvas, I
have expressed my expressionist side by releasing all the energy gathered
through dripping and splattering with water-based colour, thus creating an
interesting chalky-look structure. I have attached two
anthropomorphic figures made with oil colours with a personalised technique
(worked with brushes, hands, sponges and other materials) which have a
symbolic, cultural and historical character. They go beyond the edges of the
frame, giving us new length dimensions, a total of 157.5 cm, as well as
conceptually they go beyond the usual dimensions, beyond what I see, what I
know and what I feel. They go beyond the wall, the border, the fence. Beyond
decades, centuries and millennia. Beyond the frames, distances and BEYOND MY
WORLD.
I try to express my imagination to see the life activities,
myths, rites, cults and mysteries of the past intertwined with the present. I
provoke the imagination to look from different angles at the points that
connect these two times far from each other, as these important processes of
social groups that have always been carried out through art as a universal
expression, reflect in the present and anticipate the future .
By first identifying myself with who I am as an
individual, as a society or as a nation, I shape the respect for other cultures
as well. Consequently, I promote multiculturalism as a priceless value in art
and society
