The painting is part of a series of works I have been developing since 2022, consisting of pictorial surveys of abandoned buildings in the Milan area. "Immateriale" has its roots in the San Cristoforo station designed by architect Aldo Rossi. The geometric pattern reverberates the structural framework until the point of figurative collapse, resulting in the unveiling of a new abstract aesthetic.
