Il giardino depicts entirely Margherita's artistic research about inner landscapes. The allure of this subject comes from the realization that our body is but an organic shell, a sealed container holding darkness. It is a defined space within life, dreams, desires, memories and experiences. Therefore the artist aspires to illuminate the dark inside of the body, exploring a new organic physiognomy made of narration, visual metaphors, colours and nature. The body becomes both internal and external landscape, made of a multitude of experiences, personal and extra personal, conveyed in the visual meaning of the objet d’art.
