A small sheet metal folded on itself has raised the image of an elderly woman wrapped in a shawl. The grandmother (in Sardinian language, iaia), fishing (the lobster trap), hunting (obsidian), the warmth of the house (chestnut wood), man's work (the other objects present) are evoked in this work that reflects the experience and affection that binds the artists to the memories and history of their land.

Una piccola lamiera ripiegata su sé stessa ha suscitato l’immagine di un’anziana donna avvolta nello scialle. La nonna (in sardo, iaia), la pesca (la nassa), la caccia (l’ossidiana), il calore della casa (il legno di castagno), il lavoro dell’uomo (gli altri oggetti presenti) sono evocati in quest’opera che rispecchia il vissuto e l’affetto che lega le artiste ai ricordi e alla storia della propria terra.
