I am Jewish is a satire on where I question the meaning of my own race in a ludic way. The jewish were expelled out of Germany during the second world war. After leaving their land, this sense of being jewish or not got a little lost. The golden forwards to all the capital they had to leave behind in Europe in order to save their own lives, the red is for the pain they went through but also for the love and loyalty that made them conquer it. There is a saying in Hebrew, in the painting, that means ''I am jewish'', as for showing the proudness with no more fear to die. Also the big nose and the duck on the forehead bring again the pride. Its a very important and melancholic piece for me, because at the same time that it scrimps my own history, it represents what many other people have passed through.
