This painting was inspired by the deep feeling of healing that comes with creating art.
Like a snake in the water, the creative energy moves in the artist body while he is in the process.
The healing is meant to be both spiritual and physical, since it's a way to elaborate and deepen feelings that if not expressed end up being stored in the body. A healthy body is in a healthy mind and the other way around and this painting is a celebration of that power within the art realm as a tool of true and free expression of self.
The water is also a symbolic element for healing. Water vibrates with frequency, just like music and energy and can heal deeply.
We come from water in the womb of hour mother so it also has an ancestral connotation to it, it's something that links us to our family tree and our divine feminine.
