The palette of this painting is easy understood, but Mancone even wanted to remove the palette.
The result of FUOCO NERO is made without the use of paint, only with an heat gun with which the artist burns the thermal paper of the receipts.
The receipt is imprisoned on canvas but the thermal paper changes over time, giving rise to an “aging” process.
Air and heat transform the painting shades, making them warmer.
The work changes over time and slowly accompanies those who live them.
