One of the work from the series "Unknown face". The monochromatic work with a subtle color accent on a white paper with a
rasterized surface looks uncomfortable to rough at first. It is not a
conventional depiction as we know it from male and female visual fascination by
a woman, but a reaction to the depiction of a woman in the Internet era. The
personal, indexical depiction of a particular being sent to the digital space
becomes an anonymous face, an anonymous body, an anonymous story, an anonymous
life. The digital hunter voayer catches face, body, gender and moves to other
prey, to other images from advertisements, portfolios, selfies or women offered
for consumption. Personal, public or commercial portrayal of itself becomes an
anonymous, never-drying river, where all faces, bodies, and sexes merge in
the artificial hyperreality. Individuality in this space breaks down into
individual pixels that regroup to create new virtual beings that live their own
digital lives.
