In the picture "Frida- the
inner scream" I used iron powder to create rust on the canvas and painted
it with acrylic paint. Rust stands for process and change, for time and
transience. The painting works different rust tones and structures and are
intended to strengthen the expressiveness of the picture. The profile view of the face is mostly rust and iron powder, which didn't cost. The dynamic of the scream should be particulaly expressed through the rust structures and the open pores. In this painting, when the inside screams, the outside remains motionless and opaque.
