This composition shows the International Finance Centre in Hong Kong. The skyscraper's architectural form was expanded by another detail, a column formation. The column formation has a Doric column order: relatively squat columns that stand without a foot (base) on the substructure (stylobate). The combination of postmodern architecture in the form of the IFC skyscraper and the ancient Greek column formation forms a contrast and at the same time a link between the different styles of the time.
