Following on from my work on nature, this year I started work on the theme of the forest.
I worked with a multitude of different greens, as well as the blue and pink of Venice, to immerse city dwellers in a bubble of serenity. For this project, I worked with a perfumer who created a fragrance with woodland scents. I let myself be carried away by this perfume during my creation, which I also added to the painting to make the immersion even stronger.
By contemplating the work, people are transported out of the city and rediscover their connection to themselves and to nature.
For a moment, they escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
