When the fishermen in Sri Lanka hauled in their nets with great difficulty, I watched them for a long time, talked to them and sat down with them. Uncertain of catch in exploited seas. It was very few fish for so many people. Our envirement is in danger, so is our livelihood. I wanted to express that in my painting. And yet there was beauty in the moment.
