This work reflects moods felt at a particular time. Co-habiting with my mental health, I use my work to record my feelings, moods and at times paradoxical struggles. Balancing between what I can control and what I can not control as a constant state, enables me to visually record my process of thought. Some works seemingly calm whilst others chaotic. The layered surfaces of fluidity calmed by the rhythms and repetitiveness of hand drawn and stitched lines. Layers of letting go contrasting against the need to dictate. Both comfortably working together as an acceptance of who I am.
