By using screenshots of video-calls as a source, I retrace the confused
pattern of the pixel through a slow and meticulous kind of drawing,
creating a body of images marked by a sense of fragility.
This project reflects upon human interactions in an era of virtual social network, highlighting the tension underlying our technological globalized world and the longing for intimate relationships. Particularly vital in this current crisis of social physical interaction, our virtual world is a paradoxical environment in which, despite being ever-connected, we feel a sense of growing detachment from one another.
