This particular painting serves as a metaphor for mental disorders that could potentially lead to emotional necrosis leading to a fatal imbalance of our alchemical reactions found in our mind, body and soul.
Therefore this body of work attempts to visualize the struggles that modern people face by living in societies where rational and realistic thinking is favored over emotions such as sensitivity, intimacy, and spontaneous creativity. Ultimately the salvation of the human soul is the restoration of the principle of balance. The human body is the product of the 5 elements of nature, fire, water, air, earth and ether, and only when this alchemical balance is restored will we be able to live in harmony with the natural laws of the universe.
