Two people petrified. Everything comes to who can wait is the hope that the other changes to suit us. The mental mechanisms and the construction of the personality make that they are incompatible. They hold each other tight, they don't want to leave each other. As with our fears, some people prefer to suffer than to change their mechanisms.
