Interestingly I found this canvas sitting on top of a pile of rubbish outside my studio on the road! I sanded down the old paint and prepped the canvas for painting.
The piece is about the social, physical and emotions of having Dinner, either at a restaurant or someones house. The place setting, your status, where to put your knife and fork, food bouncing off your plate like peas! It can be a balancing act.
