In this work there are male figures from the Japanese Edo period. They are replacing the function of the microwave: warming up the dishes. Before the invention of the microwave, any food was cooked using the fire which is a gift from the nature. Nowadays the simple action of warming up is no longer done by the human ability to take advantage from the natural resources. In the art world this scenario can let us wonder the lost values.
The Kanji means "heat" and it's inspired by the Gutai group.
