We must have all experienced that
feeling of déja-vu at least once in our lives; it is a common. feeling (a
sensation). Its beauty or even its ugliness deepen int he fact that we do not
always relive the same thing; its recognition is not tha same at all times.
This very intime impression
(feeling, sensation) has touched me during one of my travellings. This so
called recognition is so sudden and intense that one would think that a
previous ambieu or moment has come to life again. The intensity of this
reliving has leaded to many questions, willingly or unwillingly.
Is it possible for such a vague
moment to become eternal? It is nut just a simple rememberng of some old things
that are over, but an illusion of theirs. It is but a travelling of the past
memories, of our own memory and that of reality. Moreover the reliving of the
feeling that it does mean.
In reality the paths of our youth
are thinner than our memory. If we turn back to the lands of our childhood and
take our way towards the infinite thought lane, we will be surprised to realise
that its corner is no more than a few steps onwards.
In comparison with their original
dimensions all the streets, gardens, sceneries, parcs are considerably
diminished. Throughout the flow of life human memory faces numerous optical
illusions.
It is quite ceratin that many of us
are aware of the fact that we are the victims of these optical illusions, and
still we do encounter difficulties to escape from the effects of this
phenomenon.
Similarly to the real optical
illusions, keeping reality under control does not lead to the restoration of
the initial relations. For instance time makes diggerence from scenery as to
the latter –in most cases- is possible to return which can not be made with
past times. The passing of time-so vivid in our memory- cannot be controlled
anymore in reality.
