I felt that
to paint a landscape, I should be outside, right in front of the landscape. So
I went to great places that are good for me and my health, sat down and
painted. The painting is not an exact representation of the landscape. It's
more a feeling about what the landscape triggers in me. I'm very happy with the
abstraction that comes with plein air painting because I have a limited time
frame. Everything changes so quickly, the light, the people, the time.
I painted this picture in Scotland.
