"which one of us shall be the prey?"
Drawing from a mix of personal daddy issues and sequences of interesting relationships I came to realise men and women both can be the predator and the prey. In this piece I am depicting the woman as a panther hungrily approaching the man. He, however, has a ball in his hand, ready to start playing with the cat.
"Daddy Issues" is composed of vibrant colours with an ironic/humorous note on the relationships between men and women, the essence of which hasn't changed through out history in my opinion. A combination of palette knife work and brushes, paints have been mixed directly on the canvas, creating a raw and saturated aesthetics.
