Technique: Gouache on paper.
This work is about the cultural barrier that I am suffering since I came to America. I born in Korea and lived there for 13 years and I left my hometown to America for around 12 years. My family is still in Korea and I am officially a citizen of Korea. I live away from family and country for my teens and early 20s, however, I am always a foreigner in America. I keep struggling to find my identity and where am I belong to.
