Continuity vs Stillness

My art work is an abstract horizontal composition displaying two aspects of time — Continuity vs Stillness. The medium used is acrylic on canvas accompanied with jute twine to highlight the story line. The jute twine is used to split the painting into two sections. The upper unfolding continuity and the lower unveiling stillness. The jute twine is also used as hands of the clock which is the focal point of the composition. The art work is a reflection of thought process where spirituality gets embedded with quantum physics. When in the phase of continuity be it life or light in space there is lots of drama. As your eyes move horizontally across the board the light splits into its full spectrum and has many different wavelengths with mixed amplitude. This is synonymous to life in the phase of karma experiencing different colours and emotions. Where as in stillness or meditative state the goal of life is peace and happiness. The phase of singularity is shown through stillness where time freezes. Here in the lower section the white warm light is travelling in a straight line parallel to black space. It is calm and serene without any activity.
