Consequence of Deforestation
Deforestation
is the main culprit of habitat loss in tropical countries. Here stumps of trees
cut down bear witness to a mutilated landscape being readied for agricultural development.
As trees are annihilated, their stumps also embody forest chacras - centers
of spiritual power - abandoning the land vis-à-vis the devastation.
