Searching in childhoods experiences and blurred memories , I am looking for the way that the permanent child in us is experiencing the way to feel safe and peaceful while on the other hand we are constantly sitting on danger . The innocent playing is interrupted by a war machine, but the horizon is still clear and bright blue and the kite flys away.
I paint whit joyfully colors in way that reminds old children’s book , because I feel this aesthetic very expressive and close to my heart. In this specific painting I added also material for part of the clothes and the kite , as a new way to experiment with a 3D feeling in my paintings.
