The inspiration for this piece comes from my experience looking up into the structure of the Williamsburg Bridge in New York City. The view creates a 3d perspective that I manipulated to draw the viewer into the painting. The 2-color palate was used to reinforce the perspective view created on the canvas. Wax and resin mediums added to the paint allowed images to be incorporated onto the painting surface.
